WELCOME

If you are like most women over the age of 30, you have spent more time, energy and money on skin care products claiming to deliver the proverbial “fountain of youth” than you care to admit.  You have discovered that very few anti-aging products live up to your expectations.  Anti-aging skin care has become a science in its own right.  As innovative technologies in skin care developed, “beauty products” became “cosmeceuticals”.  What was once simple to understand now requires a Ph.D. in Biochemistry.  Among the plethora of advanced skin care products available, how are we, as ordinary consumers, to know which are the best anti-aging products…which really work and which are nothing more than hype? This website is my attempt to provide you with the information necessary to determine the difference and make wise choices.

I am not a physician or aesthetician and I have never worked in the cosmetics industry .  I do have a science background which has contributed to my understanding of skin anatomy and physiology in addition to why and how it ages.  I have learned to fix my skin issues because I know what is causing them.  Other than that, I am just like you. I am a middle-aged woman who, through trial and error, is learning to slow down the ravages of “father time” .

Topics included will cover:

How and why skin ages

Low and no cost methods to prevent skin aging

How to buy skin care products

Ingredients to look for when choosing skin care

Where to buy anti-aging skin care so you can return it should it not work for you.

Mature skin care basics, including product recommendations

Please keep in mind that the information I am providing is for informational purposes only and is not meant to substitute for the advice provided by your own physician or other medical professional.  Again, my intent is to provide you with a sense of direction in your skin care choices and spare you the frustration, disappointment and expense that accompanies the “trial and error” method.
